It has an interesting mystery, intriguingĬharacters, clever magic, and a bit of humor tossed in here and there. Overall: This is one of the first truly goodĬonstantine stories of this era. Inconsistencies in the artwork are slightly annoying. In most places, theĪrtwork looks great and allows the book to further define itself as somethingĬons: For most of the volume, the narrative The volume’sĪpproach to magic is wonderful and adds humor to the story. ItĪlso provides some solid insight into Constantine as a character.
